Background
 
The ministry of Capernwray Torchbearers in Queensland started with a Summer School at Mount Tamborine in January 1988. This laid the groundwork for ongoing ministry throughout Queensland, extending from the Gold Coast in the south, to Mackay in the north and Longreach in the west.
 
Each year, conferences are held which enable others to share their faith and participate in a stimulating teaching programme with speakers who celebrate and explore the reality of the indwelling life of Christ. Many lives have been impacted by this exciting ministry as they have come to know the reality of Christ living in them.
