Neil Bernard Neil Bernard joined us at the end of January 2001 as Vice Principal and has since been appointed as Principal. Neil comes from Brisbane, Queensland where he has been a Baptist Pastor at the City Tabernacle, Ashgrove and The Gap churches. He has a Graduate of Theology, Bachelor of Theology and Graduate Diploma of Ministry. He brings to the position a pastoral heart, a teaching gift and experience in many areas. Neil was a student at Wongabri in 1987.He loves to swim, cycle and climb mountains.

Steve Woods Steve Woods (known as Woodsey) is an Englishman who has lived and worked in many parts of the world including, USA, Latvia, Thailand, Hong Kong and New Zealand. He was working as a missionary with the poor and, in particular, drug addicts. He has a wide range of interests including cooking, sailing, jiving, running and most outdoor adventures. Steve lives and works at the school as Dean of Students and Music Director.

Stuart Batterham Stuart was a student here in 1999. We are now very happy to have Stuart return as our Ministries Coordinator. Stuart will be working with the students, youth in the community and also involved in the high school ministry with Youth for Christ. His interests are cricket, fishing and motor bikes. Stuart is married to Rachel.

Rachel Batterham Rachel was a past student and is now on staff as Assistant to the Principal. Rachel comes from Port Macquarie, NSW. Her previous position was Secretary at the local Christian school. Her interests are music and craft. Rachel is married to Stuart.

Eliza Gunn Eliza was a student at Capernwray in 2001. Previously a Biology student, Eliza has been involved in the I.V. programme on koalas. A nature lover, Eliza is Garden Manager and House Keeper. An accomplished pianist, Eliza also has an active role in the singing group at the local Baptist church.

Kirrily Hope

Kirrily is on staff as a Secretary. She comes from a local town and has been teaching Scripture in the high school and working in a Child Care Centre. Kirrily spent a year as a student at Capernwray Harbour in 1998/1999.

Phil Giddings Phil comes to us highly skilled to take over as Property Manager. He is qualified as a plumber and is competent in so many other areas. Phil lives locally with his wife Julie and children, and is actively involved at the Bowral Church Of Christ.
