The Southern Highlands region lies to the south west of Sydney on top of the escarpment
overlooking the South Coast. It is known for its picturesque towns, gracious and historic mansions and public buildings,
as well as its genteel lifestyle.

The region offers a wide range of services and facilities for all tastes and budgets, in its main towns of MossVale,
Mittagong (Tourist Information Centre, left),
Bowral, Berrima, Bundanoon and Robertson. These delightful rural towns are all within minutes of each other.

The region boasts many beautiful natural attractions to delight the visitor. The Wombeyan Caves, Mt Gibraltar,
Fitzroy Falls and the annual Tulip Festival held in Bowral (Corbett
Gardens, left) are some of the best known of these attractions. |
